Meet Trish & Troy
Yep, it's another blog
Trish and Troy spent most of their careers working in the healthcare industry. He was a hospital administrator and she managed private dental and medical practices, leaving behind the orthopedic office she never thought she would say good-bye to so they could spend the rest of their lives chasing after their dreams... together... for as long a possible!
Together, they have DIY’d their way through 3 homes. And by together, we mean, she is the dreamer and he is the doer. Once she gets some crazy idea in her head, he usually brings it to life… or brings her back down to earth! She has been getting more hands-on though over the last several years with his help (see the aviary & little free library project).
They are embracing retirement and finding things to keep them busy. He loves woodworking and she loves spending time in the kitchen, gardens and with her new obsession - her chickens. She recently went back to school to become a Chef! They love their laid back, up-north lifestyle, but look forward to trips back down state or cross country to visit kids and grandchildren whenever they can. They love traveling, but due to their prior busy work schedules haven’t been able to do much of it, but that is about to change!
They look forward to sharing their journey into retirement with you and hope you find inspiration for your next DIY project, that trip you want to take, recipes, or maybe even a story or two along the way to brighten your day.
